Although most people know me as the Kiwi, my real name is Jonny Balchin.
I’m from New Zealand and moved to Austria after meeting an Austrian girl named Maria while traveling in Cambodia.
After moving here, I started making comedy videos about Austrian and German culture. One thing led to another — and before I knew it, I had built a community of over 1.4 million followers across my social channels.
This wild comedy journey has opened the door to many new opportunities — like our clothing brand Jonboy, a podcast with Maria, and other exciting projects you can find on my homepage.

My Mission
If we're not careful, life slips by.
We let opportunities pass because of fear.
Fear of judgement.
Fear of being neglected.
Fear of discomfort.
I've stopped myself from doing so many things in life because I was scared that my "neighbour" might judge me.
However, I am beginning to realise that "my neighbour" is just as scared of judgement as I am.
Nobody is perfect.
My ultimate goal in life is to make this world a happier place.
To leave this world knowing my life has meant something.
But I can't achieve this goal unless I am happy.
When I am truly, authentically and unapologetically myself, I am happy.
So with my content, I wish to send some of this happiness towards you.
So that we can both face our fears and leave this world a little bit happier when we leave it.
